NSPO Lived Experience Partnership Group

Please note: The LEPG Expression of Interest process is now closed.

The National Suicide Prevention Office (NSPO) is calling for expressions of interest from people with lived experience of suicide to join the Lived Experience Partnership Group (LEPG) for the NSPO.

The NSPO will establish a Lived Experience Partnership Group (LEPG) to ensure that people with a lived experience of suicide are partners in the work of the organisation.

Role of the LEPG

The LEPG will collaborate on the development of Australia’s National Suicide Prevention Strategy. It will also act as a forum for the NSPO to input ideas and receive feedback and critique to further develop suicide prevention policy.

The NSPO will appoint 10 LEPG positions. The LEPG will meet with the NSPO on a monthly basis.

The NSPO works within the National Mental Health Commission’s Paid Participation Policy, details of which can be found here.
