Connections2022 Webinars

As part of the Connections2022 program, we recognise not all people feel safe talking in a community conversation and so we a hosted a series of online community conversations that were designed to provide a safe space to hear from and understand considerations for specific population groups who are impacted by mental health.

The structure of the online conversation mirrored the in-community events. There are 3 mains parts to the conversation:

• What a community that supports good mental health looks like

• What has changed in the past 3 years, and what is important to focus to improve mental health and wellbeing now?

• Your vision of positive mental health into the future, and how we will know if things are getting better

Panellists were encouraged to share their own experiences and views, and reflect on the feedback being shared by the community during the online conversation. These experience and reflections were captured in snapshots around the following priority populations:

Older Persons

Housing Insecurity and homelessness

Culturally and Linguistically Diverse

Young People

LGBTQIA+
